Silver Appleyard ducks were developed by Sir Reginald Appleyard in Ixworth, Suffolk and date back to the 1930’s. A dual-purpose duck, these waterfowl are perfect for smallholdings and farms where they will provide around 200 eggs each year. Please note these are the bantam variety!
Our appleyards have become the delight of the farm. They’re quite chatty ducks and love to dibble around in the mud. They’re a great size with enormously fluffy butts and you lose hours watching them at work.

Shipping is within the UK ONLY. Eggs are sent via Royal Mail recorded delivery and you will be provided with a tracking number. Eggs are only shipping Monday - Wednesday to avoid packages getting stuck in sorting offices over the weekend.
